Dragon's blood is a bright red resin which is obtained from different species of a number of distinct plant genera: Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops, Calamus rotang and Pterocarpus. The red resin has been in continuous use since ancient times as varnish, medicine, incense, and dye. In short, Dragon's blood is mainly a type of incense made from the resin of a palm tree called Dracaena, or Dragon Tree. It is often used to increase the potency of spells for protection, love, banishing and sexuality.
