Resin Incense - Frank-Myrrh

Frank (Frankincense) has been used as incense since ancient Egyptian times. It is a wonderful sleep aid, relieves stress and depression, and promotes relaxation. If inhaled Frankincense has been shown to reduce heart rate and blood pressure.

Fragrance Notes:

Frankincense has a fresh, balsamic, and woodsy smell with citrus notes and spicy and fruity undertones.

Myrrh is most often used spiritually but is also grounding and helps to mellow out the emotions. It is a wonderful sleep aid, relieves stress and depression, and promotes relaxation.

Fragrance Notes: Myrrh smells warm, spicy. earthy, woody, and balsamic.

Resin Incense

Resin incense have been used for purification, religious purposes, heightening spiritual awareness, and bringing pure enjoyment for thousands of years. Resins are hardened secretions of plants, particularly coniferous trees. Fresh resins are often fragrant, though some resins do not give off much scent until they are burned. The aroma and energy of these powerful and highly concentrated sources are released when they are burned, most commonly on a small piece of charcoal

There are many methods and techniques for burning resin incense. The most common practice for burning resin incense is using a charcoal incense burner. 

How to Use:

  • Place a charcoal tab in a charcoal incense burner.

  • Light A charcoal disk by holding it with tongs until it sparks and heats up.

  • Place the lit disc into an incense burner

  • Sprinkle the incense resin on top of the charcoal tab and enjoy the released fragrances.
